Yes. We’re available Monday – Saturday 7am – 8pm (including bank holidays). We understand that pets don’t pass away during office hours.
All cremations need to be booked as an appointment, we don’t allow walk ins. We often have families stay with us during the cremation process, it’s what makes us so unique, and this means an appointment-based system is most appropriate to ensure everyone gets the privacy they need. You’ll find more information about the service we provide here – What we do.
No, unfortunately we cannot take the time away from the crematorium. There are many pet transport companies around that will be able to help.
The price depends on the size of your pet as cremations take longer for larger pets. For more information about our prices see our prices page.
Yes, you’re welcome to stay in our Family Room and wait while the cremation takes place. You can also say a final goodbye to your loved one in the peaceful surroundings of our Farewell Room. Refreshments are provided upon request (for free) and there’s no charge for these rooms. You’ll find more information about the service we provide here – What we do.
We always try our best to see people at the time and day they request, however due to the unique sit and stay service we offer sometimes this isn’t possible. Certain times of year tend to be busier than others and we occasionally find ourselves fully booked days in advance. We will offer alternative times and dates where appropriate and give you advice if you need.
We understand sometimes vets run late, traffic can be bad and other circumstances can cause someone to be late. Please give us a call or text, if you are safe to do so, as soon as you know you are running late. This ensures we can plan ahead and make sure there are no overlaps after your appointment.
If you can’t come to your appointment, or don’t need your appointment anymore, for whatever reason, please let us know. This can be via a phone call, text, email or Facebook. We are non-judgmental and won’t pry for details if you don’t wish to give a reason.
All we ask is you communicate with us as soon as you know you won’t be coming to us; this is so we can use your appointment time to help other families in need.
If you need to rebook for a different time or date, we are more than happy to help.
We only offer individual cremations with one family here at a time, so we can 100% guarantee that your pet will never be part of a mass cremation.
We also have an open-door policy where you can see the empty cremator (if you really want to). This isn’t recommended, but if it reassures you, we’re happy to show you.
Yes. If you prefer to have your pet at home with you for a few days after they have passed away before coming to us, that is completely fine and we will support you in that decision. Everyone grieves differently and there is no right or wrong way to do so. We have information here which walks you through what to expect once your pet passes away and the changes which occur to them over time.
The cremator is swept clean before and after each cremation ensuring that the only ashes you will leave with are 100% your pet and as near as humanly possible 100% of your pet.
Each cremation is unique and there are different factors which impact cremation times. Smaller animals such as guinea pigs and cats take shorter times, between one and two hours. Larger animals such as Wolfdogs and Mastiffs will take longer, over three hours.
If you choose to drop off your beloved pet with us and return later to collect them, we will arrange an appointment with you for you to collect your pets’ ashes. If the cremation is done in the morning, they will be ready by the afternoon. If the cremation is done in the afternoon, they will be ready in the evening.
Anyone who chooses to stay while the cremation takes place will leave with their pet’s ashes immediately after.
We don’t carry out euthanasia; however, we do have links to three fantastic mobile vets who offer at home euthanasia services. We can give you their contact details on request.
We don’t presently. Horse cremation requires specialist equipment, which we don’t have.
We have an open-door policy and understand for some that meeting us, seeing the facilities and how we run gives peace of mind. We would need you to book a short appointment with us for this to take place.
Yes. However, we would need you to let us know in advance and book a short appointment for this to take place so you and other families coming to us have privacy.
Yes, you can pay with a credit card, debit card or cash.
